Developing Solutions is the University's flagship international scholarship programme.

Priority subjects are environment, health, food, science and technology - key areas in the progress of developing countries.

The programme was launched in 2001 to widen access to UK universities for students from developing countries and to promote international transfer of vital skills.

Most existing scholarships provide full or partial tuition fees, but not travel or living expenses. Without further support, the very best students cannot always accept a scholarship
