We all go through busy periods in our lives where we want to get everything done, tick every item on our to-do list and power through all the tasks for the day. This feels like constantly being on a treadmill, one day after another.
The problem with overworking is that it leads to an unbalanced way of life that is not allowing creativity to surface when is most needed. Our creative mind is connected to our genius mind and giving yourself the space to rest or do things that don’t necessarily have an output will actually make you more efficient and productive.
In today’s episode of Soul Talk, Shakti Durga explores the importance of taking a break from our rational mind and having some unstructured time that allows creativity to open the safety valve that takes the pressure off us.
