मन्त्रपारायणपराः केचित् कृच्छ्रादिकारिणः |

अन्तर्यागपराः केचित् केचित् न्यासपरायणाः || २४ ||

mantra-pārāyaṇa-parāḥ kecit kṛcchrādi-kāriṇaḥ |

antaryāga-parāḥ kecit kecit nyāsa-parāyaṇāḥ || 24 ||

"Some were devoted to chanting mantras, or practicing severe austerities.

Some were absorbed in mental sacrifices, and others implanted mystic powers in their bodies."
