Sometimes, we make the mistake of treating the Bible as a mental exercise only, and so we spend time memorizing verses and policing others to make sure that they are obeying commands (often, the very commands that we've memorized). But as we learned this week, the point of the Bible isn't just to learn it and live it, but first and foremost, to LOVE it. We can't love the Son of God without also loving the Word of God, because Jesus is the Word made flesh. This powerful message will remind you how beautiful God's word is, why the early church was so devoted to it, and what happened because they were.
