I will grant them contrition so perfect, that their very sins will be changed, in my sight, into jewels of precious gold – one of the promises of The Holy Face devotion.

This devotion is for reparation of blasphemies and the profanation of Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation: the two principle sins Our Lord told Sister Mary of Saint Pierre that offend God and provoke His just anger.
