The Consumer Product Safety Commission and DeWalt are recalling DeWALT Battery Push walk-behind mowers and DeWALT Battery Self-Propelled walk-behind mowers. If the mowers’ handles gets wet, the mower may start by itself or fail to stop leading to user or bystander injuries. Affected are 2024 model year mowers.
About 46,200 mowers were sold in the US and about 9,600 were sold in Canada at The Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware and various stores nationwide and online at homedepot.com, tractorsupply.com and acehardware.com.
Stop using these mowers and contact DeWALT at 1-800-990-6421 for a free repair.
