It's a strange week, with a lot of unknowns heading into the holiday weekend. We're hoping that teams and reporters are as sharp with reporting as usual, but that's certainly not clear at this point.
For starters, a lot of viable DFS offenses are going up against tough defenses, and when you combine that with the fact that it's a shorter slate than usual the pickings are somewhat slim. The guys have their eye on the KC/ATL game, which should be a shootout that also has some injury implications. The potential absence of Julio Jones and/or Tyreek Hill could open up some serious DFS value.
Some other great teams to target this week include Chicago and Houston, and after that there appears to be a significant fall off. There are a number of total stay-away teams, like the Jets, Jaguars, Bengals, Giants, and Broncos. There are teams with reasonable skill options with no consistent plan for getting them the ball in Philly, Dallas, and Carolina. The Rams/Seahawks has a high total, but the last two times these teams met it amounted to precious little fantasy production.

Week 16 NFL Game-by-game breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings

There are a lot of interesting questions for cash games this week, starting at quarterback. Can we start Jalen Hurts after two good weeks, or should we be concerned about the low completion percentage? Would Deshaun Watson just be a safer play at similar prices? Is it insane to go super-cheap at QB on DK and play Trubisky? The guys weigh the pros and cons of each.
Running back features two easy plays in David Montgomery and Le'Veon Bell, but after that, there are a number of situations to keep an eye on. You've got the potential absence of Ezekiel Elliott, a bizarre QB situation in WAS (which impacts JD McKissic), and more. Week 16 Cash Game Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings

While there are a number of clear plays this week, there is no shortage of close calls. How do we pick between running backs coming off of big weeks, with a relatively short track record of that performance? How do we rank Jonathan Taylor, Miles Sanders, and even Alvin Kamara? Week 15 NFL Game-by-game breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings

Quarterback comes down to a decision between Lamar Jackson in the best possible match-up with the Jags, and a host of cheap guys in interesting match-ups. The guys discuss the pros and cons of paying up for a known commodity or trying to ride the upside of a cheaper option like Jalen Hurts.
Running back features two obvious plays in Cam Akers and Derrick Henry, and a whole lot of question marks after that. Doug and James discuss a few of the other potential options while acknowledging that you might be waiting until later in the week to solidify a third running back.
Wide receiver offers Brandon Aiyuk and Michael Thomas as a nice one-two punch at the top of the position, with a few cheap punt options to consider after that. Can we depend on the cheap Dolphins receivers if Parker misses this week? The guys discuss whether we've seen enough to think about it.

Week 15 NFL Cash game plays for FanDuel and DraftKings

As is typical in 2020, this week has gotten a lot more interesting as time has gone on. We have a number of wide receivers in Carolina headed to the COVID-IR, which has opened up some value there. Christian McCaffrey has been ruled out, which opens up Mike Davis as a value option.
There are some core strategic discussions for this week as well. If we can only pay up at one spot, should we pick Davante Adams or Derrick Henry? Is it reasonable to run Devontae Booker out there again if Josh Jacobs were to miss another week? Can we really trust Aaron Jones in a great match-up with Detroit given that Jamal Williams is still lurking?
And what do we make of running backs who could be poised for a lot of opportunity in potentially weird game scripts, like Myles Gaskin, James Robinson, or Dalvin Cook?
