This week’s episode features a good pal of mine, Sam Tayloe of the band Time Sawyer. I first met Sam when playing mandolin with Elonzo Wesley, and we opened for Time Sawyer at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC. We chat this week about how they’ve evolved as a band during these crazy covid times, and are now producing a weekly live stream dubbed Sam on Sunday’s.
In addition, we also touch on the significant problems we face as a society and how we can all be more open minded and learn from each other. Below are a few quotes we discuss, which were pulled from Stephen Covey’s book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. hope ya dig this episode!
“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”
"The key to life is not accumulation, it’s contribution."
"Most people struggle with life balance simply because they haven’t paid the price to decide what is really important to them.”
