Dhruvin Patel is an optometrist, innovator and entrepreneur, who, through his brand Ocushield, has sought to “make sure people have fresher-feeling eyes” by limiting harmful blue light exposure. After graduating from City, University of London in 2015, he appeared on BBC’s Dragons’ Den and, with Asad Hamir, successfully pitched Ocushield, securing investment from Peter Jones and Tej Lalvani.
