After a long, remarkable life, our dear Maine Coon, Romeo, crossed the rainbow bridge. He still had some magic left to share, though, after he passed. Cry along with me, and laugh, as I tell you about one fantastic, lovable cat.

***A special note***
Yesterday I picked up Cooper dog and Opal cat from the kennel after two days of care at Paradise Pet Lodge. The staff there has taken care of our beloved pets whenever we travel with such love and kindness, so they'd known Romeo his whole life. As I was picking up the pets, they hugged me and asked how our family was doing with the loss of Romeo. They, too, had mourned his passing. The entire staff eulogized him in a staff meeting the week he died. I cried as they shared what he'd meant to all of them. Romeo was the perfect name for that loving boy. He was unique and touched many lives. Thank you to every hand that nurtured, fed, cared for, petted, and loved him. Thank you for seeing the glorious wildness in his dazzling green eyes.
