The Diablo 4 leaked monetization plans have fans in an uproar. Many were hoping that Diablo IV monetization would not be anything like the Diablo Immortal pay-to-win problems.  

Seeing the Diablo 4 monetization leaked to the public might actually be good for the core audience and fans of the Diablo franchise. If the Diablo IV pay-to-win becomes a reality, it could be the end of the franchise.  

Diablo IV is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and is the fourth main installment in the Diablo series. The game was announced on November 1, 2019 at BlizzCon 2019, and on June 12, 2022, a 2023 release was announced.
