May is the month for Brain Cancer awareness. The color ribbon is gray and on this episode hosts Mike Walsh and Kari Janisse “go Gray in May” with a beautiful guest, Diana Butkus, speaking about childhood cancer awareness and the life of her son Jaxson. Diana shares beautifully how she and her family bravely and gracefully journeyed through Jaxson’s battle with ATRT Brain Cancer. She talks about how her family & friends and their Catholic faith helped them during their journey. She also shares many statistics and facts about childhood cancer and how we can help further research in this much needed field! We honor the lives of all of those lost to Cancer and we pray for families like the Butkus family, who share their loss and their hearts with us.
