Then one quiet spring night in 1983, everything changes.

A frantic mother races to a hospital in Oregon claiming a stranger shot her children on a dark roadside. As investigators begin asking questions, small details in Diane’s story start to raise troubling doubts.

In this episode, we explore the complicated relationships, emotional turmoil, and events leading directly to the night that would shock the nation.
