--- Sermon delivered at Pilgrim Baptist Church on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6-15 pm. -----God didn't fail to bring in the Kingdom through Old Testament Israel.--However, in 1 Samuel 8 God did allow the people of Israel to choose their own form of government. They wanted a king to rule over them, so God gave them a King.--This sermon will take a look into the Kings of Israel and will lead to God disassociating Himself with the nation of Israel.--A glimpse into Ezekiel will reveal God removing His glory from the temple and removing the crown from the kings of Israel.--God will not put another crown on any Hebrew king until He places it on His Son, KING JESUS.--When the New Testament opens with an announcement the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is at hand it's NOT because Jesus came to set up a kingdom when he arrived. It's because Jesus is the scene and He is ONLY ONE that has the power to restore what Adam lost.--Because Adam lost dominion and all His seed is corrupted by sin.
