Does Matthew 16 prove the papacy? In this short bonus episode, Jack examines Rome’s claim that the Pope, as successor of Peter, possesses supreme authority over the universal Church. Looking at Matthew 16 and the Book of Acts, Jack argues that Peter is important and influential — but that Scripture does not present him as supreme over the other apostles.
