  • Lights Out

🚩 ABUSE DOESN'T ALWAYS START WITH A HIT. SOMETIMES, IT STARTS WITH A LITTLE CONTROL.

Maybe they make you feel guilty for having an opinion.

Maybe they want to know where you are every second of the day.

Maybe they slowly push your friends and family out of your life.

Maybe they're checking your phone, tracking your location, controlling your choices, or making you feel like everything is somehow your fault.

And maybe, just maybe, you've started changing who you are just to keep the peace.

    Sound familiar?

    Let's talk about it.

I've experienced different forms of abuse, including emotional, digital, and physical abuse. And one thing I want people to understand is this: abuse isn't always one big, obvious moment. It can be a pattern of behaviors that gradually takes away your freedom, confidence, and sense of self.

Different tactics. Same underlying goal: control.

That's why recognizing the warning signs early matters.

🚩 Pay attention to how someone responds when you say no.

🚩 Notice whether their jealousy turns into rules about who you can see or talk to.

🚩 Look at whether apologies are followed by real change—or whether the same behavior keeps happening.

🚩 Notice if you're becoming more isolated, more anxious, or less like yourself.

One red flag doesn't automatically tell you everything about a relationship. But repeated behaviors, escalating control, and fear are worth taking seriously.

And please hear this: you do not have to wait for physical violence to ask for help. You don't have to prove that things are “bad enough.” You don't have to figure it all out before talking to someone.

In this Did Me Dirty mini-episode, I'm sharing my experiences and talking about the importance of recognizing abusive patterns, trusting yourself, and reaching out for support.

If you're worried about someone you love, don't shame them or make them feel foolish for staying. Listen. Believe them. Keep showing up. Help them explore safe options without taking away their choices.

Because prevention isn't just about recognizing the red flags.

It's about knowing what to do when you see them.

❤️ The earlier we recognize the pattern, the sooner we can start a different conversation.

You don't have to learn the hard way. Let me give you the clues.

  • Who Are You Talking To?

🚩 YOUR PHONE IS NOT A RELATIONSHIP CONTRACT. AND LOVE DOES NOT COME WITH ADMIN ACCESS.

Imagine trying to reconnect with someone, only to discover that your private messages aren't so private anymore.

Someone is accessing your phone, responding to messages without your knowledge, and creating confusion and accusations around conversations you didn't even know they were having.

    Let that sink in.

When I experienced invasive behavior that affected my phone and my relationships, it wasn't just about technology. It affected my ability to communicate, trust, and feel safe.

And THAT is something we need to talk about.

🚩 Demanding to inspect your phone doesn't automatically mean someone loves you.

🚩 Expecting access to all your messages, accounts, and passwords isn't proof of trust.

🚩 Monitoring who you talk to, interfering with your conversations, or using technology to isolate you can be part of a bigger pattern of control.

Let's be clear: sharing access should be a choice—not a condition of being loved.

Healthy relationships have room for privacy, boundaries, friendships, and independent lives. You can be committed to someone without handing over every password and surrendering your digital privacy.

In this Did Me Dirty mini-episode, I'm sharing my experience with digital isolation and invasive phone behavior—and why we need to recognize that abuse doesn't always happen face-to-face.

Sometimes the control happens through a screen. Sometimes the evidence is confusing. And sometimes the person experiencing it starts questioning themselves because they can't explain what's happening.

If something feels wrong, you deserve to take that feeling seriously. Consider seeking support from someone you trust or a professional who understands abuse and technology safety.

And if this sounds familiar, please hear me: you are not foolish for trusting someone, and you don't have to navigate this alone.

❤️ Your phone is yours. Your relationships are yours. Your boundaries are yours.

You don't have to learn the hard way. Let me give you the clues.

  • Friendly Fire

SOMEONE COMES ON TOO STRONG, TOO FAST… PAY ATTENTION.

Flowers. Constant texts. Big promises. “I've never felt this way about anyone before.” Talking about forever when you've barely had time to learn each other's middle names. 👀

    Sounds romantic, right?

Sometimes, yes. But sometimes, what looks like a fairytale beginning can be the start of a pattern that deserves a closer look.

Let's talk about LOVE BOMBING, JEALOUSY, AND ISOLATION—because emotional abuse doesn't always walk through the door looking like a monster. Sometimes, it shows up saying all the right things.

Maybe they get upset when you spend time with your friends. Maybe they question your family’s intentions. Maybe their jealousy gets dressed up as “I just love you so much.” And slowly, without even realizing it, your world starts getting smaller.

Your friends? You see them less.

Your family? Suddenly, they're “against your relationship.”

Your independence? Somehow, it becomes a problem.

And you? You're working harder and harder to keep someone else happy while losing pieces of yourself along the way.

That's the part we need to talk about.

In this Did Me Dirty mini-episode, I share my own experiences and break down warning signs of emotional abuse, including intense early affection, controlling jealousy, and attempts to isolate you from the people who care about you.

    Here's your reminder: ❤️

🚩 You don't owe someone instant commitment because they've made big promises.

🚩 Jealousy isn't proof of love.

🚩 Love shouldn't require you to give up your friends, family, independence, or sense of self.

🚩 And that uncomfortable feeling in your gut? You don't have to ignore it just because someone can be incredibly sweet when they want to be.

One important thing: Love bombing isn't simply being excited about a new relationship. Look at the pattern. Does the attention come with pressure, control, guilt, or punishment when you set a boundary?

Because the question isn't just “How did they treat me when everything was good?”

It's also “What happened when I said no?”

If any of this feels familiar, you are not stupid, weak, or alone. Talk to someone you trust. Reach out for professional support if you can. You deserve support without judgment.

And if you're worried about someone you love? Don't shame them. Don't demand that they leave. Keep the door open, listen, and remind them they still have someone in their corner.

  • Invisible Brusies

THE ABUSE DOESN'T HAVE TO LEAVE A BRUISE TO MESS WITH YOUR HEAD.

Let's talk about the part people don't always see.

The isolation. The control. The pressure to change who you are just to keep someone else happy. Constantly questioning yourself. Walking on eggshells. Feeling like you're losing yourself while trying to keep the peace.

And then someone asks, “But why are you so stressed?” 🙄

Maybe because living under someone else's control can take a serious toll on your mental health.

In this Did Me Dirty mental health mini-episode, I'm getting real about the impact intimate partner violence and stalking can have on our minds, our bodies, and the way we see ourselves.

We're talking about recognizing when something isn't right, listening to what your body is telling you, being kinder to yourself, and remembering that asking for help isn't weakness.

You don't have to wait until you're completely broken to deserve support. You don't have to prove you've suffered enough. And you sure as hell don't have to figure everything out alone.

❤️ Be kind to your mind. Listen to your body. Give yourself permission to get help.

Because healing isn't about pretending nothing happened. It's about giving yourself the care you deserved all along.

🎧 Watch the mini-episode, share it with someone who needs the reminder, and let's keep having the conversations that too often go unspoken.

  • Stranger Danger... Nope

What if the person watching you… already knows you?

We grow up believing stalking comes from strangers in dark corners. But the truth is far more unsettling — and far more common. In this episode of Did Me Dirty, I pull back the curtain on a form of stalking that often goes unnoticed because it feels familiar, explain why so many victims minimize what’s happening to them, and share a real story that still stops me in my tracks.

This conversation isn’t about paranoia — it’s about patterns. The ones we’re taught to ignore. The ones that escalate when silence takes over. And the ones that can change everything when we finally name them.

If you’ve ever felt watched, brushed something off as “no big deal,” or wondered where the line actually is — this episode is for you.

  • Hiding In Plain Sight

Stalkers rewrite the story. Documentation writes it back.

In this episode, I talk about the one thing that can flip a stalking case from “nothing we can do” to “we see the pattern”: receipts. I break down how I started tracking the texts, the “coincidences,” the drive-bys — even the things that felt too small or too weird to matter. Spoiler: they mattered.

You’ll learn exactly what to record, how to track it, and why tiny details become massive proof when you’re fighting for safety and credibility.

If someone is crossing lines in your life, trust your gut and start documenting now. And reach out — you don’t have to navigate this alone.
