As much as the Buu Saga wrapped up Vegeta’s character in as beautiful a fashion as I could hope for, I still think it would’ve been interesting if the series had ended with Cell. Vegeta’s character has undergone significant change in that arc that I think it would’ve ended in a decent and equally redemptive fashion. The only change though would lie in a more bittersweet feel given that Vegeta’s was left with an emptiness I think the Buu saga utilized and addressed to end him in a more positive fashion.
