Everybody's (not so) favorite part of vehicle registration...emissions testing. 

Emissions testing can be stressful because what happens if you don't pass? In this episode, automotive experts Glen & Dave provide listeners with tips on preparing their vehicles to pass emissions, and what to do if they fail emissions testing. 

There are a few ways to fail an emissions test automatically, such as a check engine light. If you have a check engine light on in your vehicle, have it inspected by an automotive professional before going through emissions testing. 

In Arizona, vehicle owners must take their cars through a certified emissions testing center. Auto repair shops cannot perform emissions testing. BUT what they can do, is connect a scan tool to your vehicle and see if there are any issues with the monitors or if any codes are showing up before you wait in line for an emissions test.
