Have you contemplated walking away from God? There are times in all of our lives when we get overwhelmed by our circumstances. Esau was just like many of us. He was more interested in what he thought he needed at the moment. He got instant gratification, but long-term earthly chaos and conflict and ultimately eternal death. We all have blessings attached to our lives. We should not allow anything to take us away from the promise that has been given to us. When we give our lives to Christ we become joint heirs with Him. Though the struggle here on earth is often tumultuous, we have a promise of eternity. Don't give up your benefits package for the momentary comforts of this life.
