I recently missed my monthly call with my mentee, and I felt TERRIBLE! I was worried that it would make me look like I did not care or that I didn't respect our relationship's expectations - all because I had a little too much fun on a Sunday night and overslept (oopsie!).
Thankfully, my relationship with my mentee is pretty solid because we've had very clear expectations from the beginning, AND she was SUPER understanding when I missed the call (you rock, Sydni!).
That's why this pod is focused on how the beginning of a mentor/mentee relationship should look like so you don't ever have to get to the break-up point.
