The Didache is the first Ancient Christian Writings we are going to go through. This work was actually lost until the 1800's and is generally declared to be true by scholars of every flavor.

As we read the instructions of the Apostles to rural gentile communities, believed to be in Syria the beliefs and practices of the ancient church will be very clear.
