Waren die Menschen der Kykladen-Kultur die berüchtigten Piraten, vor denen sich das griechische Festland schützen wollte? Und welche Auswirkungen hatte der Ausbruch Theras auf die Ägäis und den Rest des Mittelmeerraumes?

Im 1. Teil über die Kykladen-Kultur erkunden wir ihre Anfänge als auch ihre Blütezeit. Darunter fällt als sehr prominentes Beispiel die Insel Thera, heute Santorin, welches durch einen Vulkanausbruch beinahe zerstört wurde. Außerdem wollen wir herausfinden, ob es sich bei der Kykladen-Kultur wirklich um Seeräuber gehandelt hatte.
