Usually the  NFL trade deadline just kind of comes and goes, but not the 2017 NFL trade deadline.  There was a flurry of activity prior to the deadline this past Tuesday and even a trade that was denied because it wasn't completed in time.  The New England Patriots shocked everyone by sending Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2018 2nd round pick 2018.  The Cleveland Browns shocked no one by botching a trade involving AJ McCarron because they didn't get the paperwork in on time.  We'll discuss them all. 

We'll also look back on the NFL Week 8 and preview NFL week 9. 

In the NBA, we'll examine how the hand injury to Larry Nance Jr. that will keep him out 4-6 weeks could prove to be a blessing in disguise for the Los Angeles Lakers.  We'll also examine further what ails the Cleveland Cavaliers and why they may not make the NBA Finals for a 4th straight season.  

The 2017 World Series is over and the Los Angeles Dodgers ended it with a big thud as the Houston Astros won their very first World Series title.  What happened to the Dodgers? Should they have started Yu Darvish in game 7 or not?  How did the Astros do it despite having a losing road record in the 2017 MLB Postseason? Can they repeat next season?
