El 1 de diciembre de 1959 nacía en Chatham, Kent, Reino Unido, uno de los personajes que más ha influido en nuestras vidas. Se trata de STEVEN JOHN HAMPER o, como es mundialmente conocido, BILLY CHILDISH. Desde hace años llevamos por aquí pensando como hacer un homenaje a este genio, pero el respeto que le tenemos, unido a su ingente discografía, nos frena en el intento. En este programa juntamos al músico (y sus compañeros) con algo que nos gusta mucho por aquí: las versiones. Para ello recorremos parte de su carrera (toda es imposible, pues seguro que mientras escuchas el programa habrá editado otros 20 ó 30 discos) a través de las versiones que ha ido realizado a lo largo de su carrera con algunos de sus (muchos) grupos y proyectos.
