One of the best days of my military career was when an older Sgt. swooped in and took me under his wing, he made me feel like I was part of the team at my unit.  Yet this is the opposite of what I see us as veterans do.  The other day I saw some comments in a thread about vets and I wanted to share this experience to hopefully help pass this idea along.  Differences Divide Us, Similarities Strengthen Us.
