Eric Rivers, BSN, clinical coordinator for the Valley Health Partners Street Medicine Program joins the podcast to talk about the different types of technology that street medicine teams utilize. While some of it is typical like laptops, pulse-ox, and blood pressure cuffs, others are more unique like a portable ultrasound machine and autorefractors. The technology that street medicine teams use it more than just medical with complex mapping systems of the area to water filtration systems to give out. It is through the generously of donors and the community that this street medicine team is able to do the work that they do on a daily basis.
