The truth about your faith is: It’s not a project, it’s a process.

Human tradition focuses on the thing we are trying to accomplish, the habit we are trying to start, or stop. But God wants us to focus on the person He wants us to become and the Person He wants us to know. The point of the process is relationship.

The process is circular, not linear. We think of our spiritual growth as linear. Like a list of things we want to accomplish. But with God, growth is circular. Because God is a god of process. The only thing that stops the process of growth is if we disconnect ourselves.

You have to remember, “It’s not about finishing what you started, it’s about continuing what He has already finished.”
