In this episode your host Sarath sits down with the President and Vice President of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist; Long Beach State chapter. Together they discuss the history of NAHJ, why it's important, and what it means to be a young Latina journalist.

Arellano is the founder and owner of SweetLABerries, a small business that designs chocolate covered strawberries. We will discuss the ins and outs of running a small business whilst being a full-time student, the impact that COVID-19 had on the business, and how one gift for her boyfriend started it all.

He will discus his struggles growing up knowing how to speak only Zapotec and adapting to a new culture upon migrating to the United States. This is a special edition of Dig en Español Podcasts. Host Cristian Vasquez takes us through the timeline of the events of September 11, 2001. CSULB alum and American Airlines flight attendant, Olympia DiCross will recount where she was on the day of the attacks. She will share her experiences as an attendant and the stories her colleagues have shared over the years of the tragic event. This episode is dedicated to all the people who lost their lives on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 and to their families and loved ones.

This is episode 2 of our series, Deletreando. Host Cristian Vasquez talks about the long awaited reunion tour of Mexican band "Los Bukis", a dive into the history of the band, their impact on the Latinx community, and his personal experience of this historic concert. CSULB student Angel Pardo and his brother Orlando Pardo will join in to discuss what the band means to them and their mother, and their personal account of the concert.

This is the first episode of our new series, Deletreando, where host Cristian Vasquez sits down with members of Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar, led by CSULB alum Jimmy K Cuellar. Band members Grover Castro Tiburcio, Gustavo Zambrano, and band director Cuellar take us inside their viral moment in which they performed for the Dodgers on their turf and when Dodgers' pitcher Joe Kelly exchanged his jersey for Castro's mariachi jacket. A moment which later erupted on social media when Kelly wore the jacket to The White House during the team's championship visit.

In this episode, Eric Montes Gabino, host and producer, is accompanied by Gloria Yazmin Barrera. Yazmin Barrer is a college student at LB Community College who is taking zoom classes since the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the in-person courses. She explains the pros and cons of doing zoom courses.
