The Pilgrim's Mentality: 

  • Isaac is connected to us thru Jesus our Lord.  Both Isaac and you are connected through the blood of Jesus
  • He, Isaac, is a pattern of the believer
  • Isaac lived during a famine surrounded by ungodly Philistines
  • Although he lived in a famine, surrounded by ungodly people, Isaac lived a godly life and was truly blessed by GOD
  • This same treatment is happening to us.
  • We are pilgrims passing through.  This world is not our home.
