Wells are sources of spiritual sustenance that are necessary for survival of the church, of the saint.

Our spiritual fathers and mothers dug up wells.  When we were growing up spiritually, we drank from those wells.

Today the world wants to shut those wells down

We need to not only dig new wells, but to dig up those crucial wells that our spiritual moms and dads dug; which sustained them in their time.
