Belay T. Gebru founded Hope for the Fatherless in 2012. The organization was born out of his desire to counter the current orphan crisis facing his homeland of Ethiopia. HFTF operates two small group homes from which children are able to be placed into forever families through domestic adoption. Belay’s own story is one of tremendous tragedy and redemption, both shaping much of his ministry to the fatherless of Ethiopia. He is recently married to Koki and serves as the executive director of Hope for the Fatherless.
