This week we have an album that I’ve always loved for it’s somber and lingering piano music; Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror. This is a great album for a rainy day, falling asleep, or contemplation. Track six the album, starts at 22:15, has always been special and deeply touching for me, Enjoy! This week we bring you one of our most favorite ambient and relaxing music albums; World of Sleepers by Carbon Based Lifeforms. Relax, enjoy, and let your mind wander. Swedish duo Carbon Based Lifeforms aka Daniel Segerstad and Johannes Hedberg composed a strong sonic introspection mixing sub-marine perceptions with metropolitan climax. World of Sleepers is a deep and gentle album, where warm crunchy rhythms and ethereal pads contrast with interference frequencies and organic echoes. Groove and smooth are the foundation of this album which will send you drifting into other perspectives. The CBL fellows are back with a [ World of Sleepers ] that should wake up your emotions. “The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead.
