Digital Fiasco’s 2016 Game Awards

Listen Later

It has been a big year for gaming. Sony has had a flurry of hardware releases with the release of the PlayStation 4 Slim, PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation VR,  Microsoft released backwards compatibility on the Xbox One for many Xbox 360 titles as well as hinted about Project Scorpio, and of course Nintendo announced the upcoming Switch console/handheld hybrid. With the literally hundreds of games released this year, it was a substantial challenge for Dandr0id and I to narrow down our nominees to a mere handful in each category and choose which would be deemed most worthy of recognition in 2016. Through many hours of deliberation, four arguments and an attempted murder, we have finally arrived at our decisions. Listen to this very special episode below to find out the winners of Digital Fiasco’s 2016 Game Awards, and and scroll to the end for the lists of nominees.
From all of us at Digital Fiasco, we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays, and a Festivus for the rest of us.
