The femtech industry is growing fast, and it's no surprise why.  Women are more than half the population, and they have a lot of needs that aren't being met by existing technology. This is especially true regarding their health—women are more likely than men to suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. And when they do, they're often less likely to seek help because of the stigma surrounding mental illness in women.

So what does this mean for the future of digital health? It means that #digitalhealth can be used to help women manage their mental health more effectively and efficiently. We've seen some great examples of this already: apps like Calm offer guided meditation programs for people who want an alternative to medication or therapy. And there are also apps like Woebot that offer real-time support from trained therapists via text message or messenger app in case you're feeling especially low or anxious.

As the femtech industry continues to grow, we'll see more and more innovations like these—and hopefully, they'll make it easier for women everywhere to feel supported and cared for as they work toward better mental health!  Women are more likely than men to use digital health tools and self-care apps, according to a recent study from Pew Research Center. This means that we have an opportunity to leverage the power of digital health tools to improve women's health outcomes.  But how do we get there?

First, we need more data on how digital health is currently being used and how it could be used differently to improve women's health outcomes. Second, we need more research into how online support can help women overcome barriers like stigma or lack of access in their communities. Third, we need more information about which digital interventions work best for different populations so that providers know what resources are available when someone comes in for care or asks for help online.

And finally, we need better ways of measuring whether these interventions actually lead to improved outcomes for patients over time  Digital health is a booming industry, and it's one that's poised to have a significant impact on women's health.  The femtech industry is growing incredibly rapidly. The number of mobile apps designed specifically for women has increased by over 400% since 2012, and it's estimated that by 2020, the global market for female-focused wearables will be worth $6 billion.
