Speaker Bios 

Daniele Jean-Pierre, Zimbali Networks With 20 years of legal experience in leverage finance and international development, Daniele is a former Associate General Counsel at American Capital and finance associate at Latham & Watkins, representing investment banks in the arrangement and syndication of secured credit facilities. Appointed to the US Diplomatic Service for USAID by President Obama, Daniele has served as a US Diplomat in Senegal and Haiti. She co-founded Zimbali Networks to provide digital financial services to women in emerging economies and serves as the COO.   

Gwen Darguste, Central Bank of Haiti Gwen is a deputy chief of service at the Central Bank of Haiti for the external debt service of the International Affairs department. During college, she interned for the Caribbean Central American Action (CCAA) which is a private, independent organization located in Washington DC, which promotes private sector-led economic development in the Caribbean Basin and throughout the Hemisphere. She has also interned at the National Bank of Credit, the third biggest commercial bank in Haiti, where she evaluated its relative performance to competitors. As part of the Capital Markets Program, she attended George Washington University and interned with IFC Treasury in Washington, D.C.
