Dinah began teaching dance and fitness classes 35 years ago whilst an undergraduate and her passion for movement lead her to Pilates which she has taught for 21 years. Her contemporary approach to Pilates is further influenced by her training in and teaching of Gyrotonic, The Franklin Method and Yoga and Meditation. Enabling people to feel confident and strong in their bodies is an important part of moment practice. Dinah’s unique approach to teaching Pilates facilitates an understanding of how our bodies move and how to help ourselves with appropriate exercises. In Dinah’s Cotswold Studio practice she encourages clients to discover their movement potential, whatever their age and condition. With her expertise and experience she provides a professional, caring and enjoyable environment for exercise and wellbeing.
Dinah’s Menopause Pilates is a unique concept to help women exercise through targeted movement protocols for strength, bone density, mobility and fascial release. This is combined with breath work, pelvic floor health and meditation to create an integrated approach to menopause self care. Discussion and journaling are encouraged to increase awareness and education during this vital stage of women’s health.
