Family dinners were important growing up, not only for nourishment, but for the sense of belonging they imparted. Jesus’ table is much the same: we can come as we are. There’s no dress code or hoops to jump through; we just need to pull up a chair and join in.

Then those who were at table with Him began to say among themselves, ‘Who is this, who even forgives sins?’
