Sermon Scripture: Luke 9:10-17

Theme: God multiplies our efforts to serve others

Key Verse: Luke 9:13a (But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.”)

Jesus said, “Feed them.” And, the disciples did obey, giving all that they had to feed the multitude. Impossible! Yet, in the hands of Jesus, their inadequate offering to the people is multiplied and transformed, leaving no one hungry. When we offer what we have to serve others, it is never too little in God’s hands! Sometimes we fail to serve because we think we have too little to give. Yet something as simple as sharing a cup of coffee with someone having a difficult week, or calling someone up who hasn’t been to church lately, or supporting a Team in even a small way, or having someone over to your home for a meal can all lead to MAJOR and powerful movements of God!
