Peter Leavell, author is a 2007 graduate of Boise State University with a degree in history, was the 2011 winner of Christian Writers Guild’s Operation First Novel contest, and 2013 Christian Retailing’s Best award for First-Time Author. Peter and his family live in Boise, Idaho. For entertainment, he reads historical books, where he finds ideas for new novels. Julie Lancelot, narrator, has been a fan of Christian fiction and romance since her teen years. She lives in a cabin on a small wooded acreage in Arkansas with her husband and two boys; horses roam the pastures and neighbors chat across the barbed wire fence. She draws upon her many years in the church and growing up as a Pastor’s daughter in the south and the Midwest to add personality to her characters. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, extended family and rowdy group of southern girlfriends.
