My son began reading these books in kindergarten and fell in love with reading. They are beautifully illustrated and entertaining. He is in 6th grade now and has collected all 4 Diane Levin Rauchwerger's Dinosaur books. He still reads them to the family on holidays.

Dinosaurs! Israel! A good combo.

The Good Stuff:

-Great, vividly colored illustrations by Jason Wolff. The saturated colors eye catching and pleasing.

-It rhymes! And not in an annoying, cutsie way.

-Hits all the highlights of the classic tourist stops

The Not-so-good Stuff:

-It rhymes. Sometimes it feels a little forced.
