'Dire picture': Expert reveals the reasons behind Australia's manufacturing decline
Last week's announcement from Bega Group about the closure of the 100-year-old Peanut Company of Australia has highlighted the decline of the Australian Manufacturing industry.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in the year to June 2024, 5136 established Australian manufacturing businesses closed down.
Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Group, Innes Willox, joined Bill McDonald to discuss what this means for Australian industry.
