Do you struggle with comparison or trying to be the perfect parent?  Forget about that lofty unattainable goal and focus on the direction instead.  We are all headed somewhere and so long as you allow God to light your path, He will make your way perfect.  Partner with God and he will light your path.

Today's Scriptures:

Phil 4:13 - I can do all things through Him Who strengthens me.

Psalm 18:32 - the God Who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless (perfect).

Gal 3:3 - Are you so foolish?  Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

Ecc 7:20 - Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.

**Isaiah 26:3-4 - You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.  Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock. (**In the podcast I said this was Isaiah 23, but it is 26.  Sorry if that confused you.)

1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.

2 Sam 22:31 - This God - His way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.

Romans 5:8 - but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Hebrews 10:14 - For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being made holy (sanctified).

BONUS SCRIPTURE TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO KEEP YOUR EYES TOWARD THE GOAL:

Phil 3:12-14 - Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own because Christ Jesus has made me His own.  Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own.  But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
