Before her career as a music journalist for Italian newspaper La Repubblica and Vogue, Susanna worked for three years as a stylist at MTV and before that as a stylist for Flair magazine in Milan.
During her journalist career she interviewed the likes of PJ Harvey, Mick Jones, Alex Kapranos and The Hives, settling into an indie rock universe.
In 2012 she began acting, winning a small role in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. This was followed by parts in Berberian Sound Studio and In Fabric by Peter Strickland and a leading role in Emma Rozanski's Papagajka. Her latest role was in the award-winning Listen directed by Ana Rocha.
She still writes, sometimes acts and My Husband, The Cyborg is her directorial debut.
