Ireland recently introduced new regulations to amend the examinership regime and codify certain duties of directors when a company is in the zone of insolvency. The European Union (Preventive Restructuring) Regulations 2022 implement aspects of the Directive on restructuring and insolvency which were not already part of Irish law.
