Dīrgha: Belly deep breathing (guided breath)

EN. This breathing exercise is welcoming a deeper, and fuller cycle of breath. As we breathe specifically to the chest, belly and side body, more air comes through the lungs as we utilise the deeper parts of our lungs. Dīrgha (दीर्घ) means ‘long’ and this technique is also often referred to as ‘yogic breath’ or ‘three part breathing’.
