Spring is here (at least according to the calendar) and even if we're still getting snow, the signs of spring are all around: Northern Flickers, Mountain Bluebirds, the return of my Pelican Army and ground squirrels coming out of hibernation.  Also, I had another uncommon animal sighting this week.  Find out more in this Dirt Dispatch!
