Grieving loss forces us to slow down and see the things that God has for us in the moment. In Mary's grief she became the first person entrusted with the news of Jesus' resurrection. Taking time to grieve helps us recognize God's presence is with us in the world and His call to bring reconciliation and restoration to all His creation.
