Jeremy Scahill is an award-winning investigative journalist and author of books, Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield, the basis for this documentary, and the best selling Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army. He has previously worked as a producer and correspondent for Democracy Now! And has reported for many newspapers worldwide. He is currently a Puffin Foundation Writing Fellow at The Nation Institute. Dirty Wars opens in cinemas and is available on itunes from 29 November.
