Listen Later

Hey, welcome to an episode of Crippled by Culture, where we talk about everything in life and relate it to the disabled and chronically ill community. My name is Sean Gold and I am an author, advocate, and nonverbal public speaker for the disability community.
Today I would like to thank Yuri Velez for being my voice in this episode. In this episode, we are talking about the intersections of disability, art, and culture.
Guest Bio: Christopher Robin Judson Worth was born with cerebral palsy in Bridgeport Connecticut, his parents due to hardship put him in foster care. While in the system, he was educated in an institutionalized Setting up until the age of 11 when he was adopted by a family from West Virginia. Today Christopher is a community educator/organizer with over fifteen years of experience. He cut his teeth in community organizing through joining the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition (OVEC), where his organizing efforts centered on the environmental movement, namely the abolition of mountaintop removal. He holds training certificates from Missouri Jobs with Justice and Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF), founded by the father of community organizing, Saul Alinsky.
