#everyonebelongs
To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities we're looking at the importance of community for disabled and non-disabled people alike.
In this podcast, Dr Wendy Uttley of the Down Syndrome Training & Support Service (Bradford, UK) tells us why being part of a community is important for young people with Down Syndrome and how everyone in the community benefits from greater inclusion. We also talk to Sam, a young person with Down Syndrome who has found a work placement through the organisation.
